Easter

oh what a great day!! Nathan got home, bugga came over and we had a massive egg hunt in the back yard (that nick patiently waited for) nick had to find the easter baskets too. Bugga kept Jorjie warm, while nathan helped nick, then we ate a yummy easter dinner, funeral potatoes, honey baked ham, bbq baked beans, salad, green bean casserole, rolls, fruit, like we needed anymore sweets but i also made brownies! I was quite proud of myself!

i can't believe all the candy and toys! its over! the older nick gets the harder it is to keep surprises. oh i almost forgot...... jorja loves pickles!! yup pickles, i thought i would tease her by giving her a taste, thinking she would make a funny face but no she loved it and wanted more! we laughed so hard! she is starting to feel better now that she got and antibodic!

We had a baby shower for Jonna, these girls are so fun! we had such a great time! good food too!! Jonna just glows, she is one of those pregnant girls that is always happy and smiling! i cant wait for baby Nixon "Danger" to get here!! april I stole your photos!

pre- easter

easter is one of my favorite holidays, but this year i have not been so into it! Nathan is out of town and will be home sunday afternoon, we died eggs and had a easter egg hunt with Holly and brookes families, they had fun but it was over so fast, the big egg hunt, easter baskets and easter dinner will be tomorrow, hopefully it warms up a little, we are sick again! seems like we just got better.

These are some of my best friends, Holly and Brooke!! Brooke was up this weekend and we had so much fun! she moved to AZ in October and it was so hard but she comes and visits a lot!! we went to Ottavios, La Casita, easter egg hunt, out to lunch, man we eat a lot!! and we all wore green, ha ha! i am very fortunate to have them!!

Doctor appt.

sorry about so many posts right in a row but i had a free minute. Both kids had doctor appointments, Jorja had a six month check up and Nick had kindergarten well-visit, both had to get shots and that did not go over very well with nick he was so upset, good thing dad came with! we had to go to wal-mart and get a new toy to make it better, they checked his eyes and hearing, all is perfect, i was worried about his eyes but 20/20 vision! Jorja is 13 lbs and 8oz she is so happy and smiley, she can make rasberries, stick her tongue out at you, roll over and trying so hard to sit up, such fun accomplishments! I just love being a mom and all these diffent stages of life!

I have to say this kid is growing up right before my eyes! he is starting kindergarten this year, wow! I am excited for him but also so sad!! He is actually a cool kid, he says and does some of the funniest things such as "well thats how i roll" and "Shhha right" he cracks me up! He winks and gives the thumbs! ha ha mister personality
